HL Group said on March 26 that it is inviting promising startups to participate in an open-innovation program run with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
The program is targeting startups focused on mobility and autonomous driving, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), smart construction and logistics.
Selected startups will be paired with HL’s core affiliates — including HL Mando, a software-defined vehicle (SDV) specialist; HL CleMove, an autonomous-driving solutions provider; HL Robotics, a robotics-focused unit; HL D&I Hanla, a smart-construction firm; and HL Holdings, a logistics services company — to maximize collaboration and commercial synergies.
Applications are open on the StartupPlus platform through April 6.
HL Group will select three finalists and support them with proof-of-concept (PoC) trials, expert mentoring and assessments of technical feasibility, market potential and strategic fit, and it may consider direct investment.
