By Kim Se-hwa, World Today — Ottogi Co. is bringing a playful twist to the 2026 Korea Ramen Expo at Songdo Convensia in Incheon. From Thursday, March 26 through Sunday, March 29, the company will host a hands-on experience called Make-Your-Own Jin Ramen where visitors build custom bowls.
The 2026 Korea Ramen Expo is South Korea’s only ramen-focused trade show celebrating K-ramen’s global rise. It’s a comprehensive platform that brings manufacturers, retailers and fans together under one roof.
At Ottogi’s booth, a Make-Your-Own Jin Ramen station lets guests mix and match ingredients to craft bowls tailored to their tastes. The experience highlights Jin Ramen’s subtle spice levels and flavor pairings so attendees can truly feel the brand rather than just sample it.
Participants can choose from 14 toppings — including dried wild greens, dried seaweed, scrambled egg and kimchi flakes — then pair them with either the mild or spicy Jin Ramen base to create a personalized recipe. Ottogi will also hand out samples of Jin Ramen Slightly Spicy and the newly released Jin Milmyeon during the event.
There’s also a design station where visitors can decorate cup-ramen lids with Jin Ramen stickers and craft supplies, then seal their creations with a sealing machine. If you post your finished cup on social media, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a Jin Ramen round zipper pouch made in collaboration with Idus handmade artists.
An Ottogi spokesperson said, “We created the experience zone so people can explore Jin Ramen’s wide range of flavors through a variety of toppings and base options. We hope visitors have fun discovering new ways to enjoy Jin Ramen.”
