[World Today Reporter Choi In-ho] Sejong University's University Job Plus Center, led by President Eom Jong-hwa, is launching an on-site, customized support program to help job seekers make the most of an upcoming recruitment fair.
On April 28 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the center will host the \"Job Fair Makeover Room\" at the café \"Gonggan Kunst\" near the Yangjae aT Center. The event is open to Sejong alumni, soon-to-be graduates, and local young professionals.
Designed to complement the large-scale Sangsaeng Job Fair, the program offers pre-event information and encouragement with the clear goal of boosting real hiring outcomes. A standout feature is an on-site base camp near the fair, where attendees can rest, recharge, or wait between sessions.
With in-person networking and on-site interviews making a comeback, energy and mental resilience matter more than ever. Sejong University is extending support beyond campus to the recruitment venue so candidates can arrive at interviews feeling confident and composed.
At its core is a relaxed lounge paired with one-on-one image consulting. Pre-registered participants can receive expert coaching—think personal color analysis and body-shape assessment—so their interview look is strategic and aligned with the role and company culture, not just about appearance.
Following the assessments, consultants will recommend interview outfits and provide practical makeup and hairstyling tips. These adjustments help candidates visually amplify their strengths and project both professionalism and calm under pressure.
A University Job Plus Center official said, \"Large fairs offer many opportunities, but they can also leave job seekers drained. By providing on-the-spot, tailored support and rest areas, we aim to help participants perform at their best.\" The official added, \"We plan to expand hands-on, on-site support as the hiring landscape evolves.\"
