[Sports Today reporter Kang Tae-gu] Ulsan Hyundai Mobis snapped their losing streak with an 85-74 victory over Busan KCC at Ulsan Dongcheon Gymnasium in the 2025-2026 LG Electronics Pro Basketball regular season.

The win moved Hyundai Mobis to 17-30, keeping them in eighth place. KCC fell to 24-23 and is now tied for fifth with Goyang Sono (24-23).

Seo Myeong-jin and Ration Hammonds scored 20 points apiece to lead Hyundai Mobis, while Park Moo-bin (14) and Lee Do-heon (11) provided important support.

For KCC, Shaun Long posted 21 points and 13 rebounds and Heo Hoon added 17, but their efforts were not enough.

Mobis asserted control early. After a 10-10 deadlock in the first quarter, Lee Do-heon hit a 3-pointer to give Mobis the edge, and Hammonds dominated the paint, drawing free throws and quickly widening the gap.

KCC’s Hernandez scored inside, but turnovers handed extra possessions to Mobis, and the visitors closed the quarter trailing 21-14.

The second quarter was competitive. Mobis pushed the lead into double digits as Park Moo-bin and Seo Myeong-jin produced points from inside and out. Mobis capitalized on KCC turnovers — Jo Han-jin hit a 3 and Hammonds scored in the paint to sustain the advantage.

KCC fought back with consecutive 3-pointers from Yoon Ki-chan and Shaun Long, and Long finished the quarter with a dunk, but Mobis still led 44-37 at halftime.

The third quarter followed a similar pattern. Shaun Long kick-started KCC’s offense with support from Song Kyo-chang and Heo Hoon, yet Mobis responded as Park Moo-bin scored from inside and out and Lee Seung-hyun added key inside buckets.

With one minute remaining in the quarter, KCC narrowed the gap when Kim Dong-hyun hit an outside shot and Heo Hoon stole the ball and converted, leaving the score 59-65 heading into the fourth.

Mobis finished the game stronger. Early in the fourth, KCC briefly threatened to take control as Heo Hoon hit consecutive 3s and completed an and-one play.

But Seo Myeong-jin’s basket restored Mobis’ lead, and Hammonds’ outside shot, Lee Seung-hyun’s inside score and Park Moo-bin’s 3-pointer pushed the margin to 83-72 in short order.

Shaun Long added a dunk for KCC, yet with less than a minute remaining the comeback fell short and Hyundai Mobis closed out the victory.
