[By Kang Tae-gu, Sports Today] Seoul E-Land FC has landed U-23 national team goalkeeper Hwang Jae-yoon in a swap that sends Lee Yoon-oh to Suwon FC.

Hwang, listed at 187 cm (about 6 ft 2 in) and 83 kg (about 183 lb), is known for his quickness and sharp reflexes, traits that make him a reliable shot-stopper. His powerful kicking ability also helps spark rapid counterattacks.

A product of Jinwi High School, Hwang played at Korea University before turning pro with Jeonbuk Hyundai in 2024. He spent much of his time with Jeonbuk’s B team, where he was a key contributor to their 2024 K4 League title run.

Hwang also brings international experience at youth level. He was named to the final roster for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup earlier this year, earning valuable exposure on the international stage.

With this addition, Seoul E-Land’s goalkeeping group now features Min Seong-jun, Eom Ye-hun and Hwang Jae-yoon, an energetic, young unit averaging 24.7 years old that should inject competition and depth into the squad.

On joining the club, Hwang said, “I’m honored to sign with Seoul E-Land, a team I believe is closest to promotion. Above all, team victories come first. I want to keep improving through competition, help our promotion push and work hard to show our fans my best.”

Seoul E-Land will aim for back-to-back wins on the 14th when they host Busan at Mokdong Stadium.
