The Asia-Pacific Golf Summit is the first official forum designed to outline joint growth strategies for women's golf across Asia and to formalize cooperative frameworks. The KLPGA says the summit aims to establish direct networks among Asian women's golf associations, lay the groundwork for co-hosted events and programs, and secure a strategic platform for regional collaboration.
As the KLPGA's first forum of this kind, the Asia-Pacific Golf Summit 2026 will bring together officials from major Asian women's golf associations — including China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam — along with sports and government representatives from those countries.
On day one, participants will review tour operations and shared challenges, and discuss expanding co-sanctioned events, developing a unified Asia ranking system, creating youth development and training-camp cooperation models, and increasing player exchanges and reciprocal entry opportunities. Day two will see attendees watch the 2026 KLPGA season opener, the Rejuran Championship.
KLPGA Chairman Kim Sang-yeol said, \"I'm proud to host the Asia-Pacific Golf Summit 2026, which will serve as a starting point for cooperation in Asian women's golf. I hope this summit helps associations build a sustainable ecosystem for collaboration. We plan to hold these summits regularly and will do our utmost to position the KLPGA as the hub of women's golf in Asia.\"
