Korea & Company announced on May 14 that Korea Competition will compete in the main event at the 2026 ADAC RAVENOL 24 Hours Nürburgring in Germany, running through May 17 (local time).

The Nürburgring 24 Hours is regarded as one of the world’s premier endurance races, alongside the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Daytona. The Nürburgring circuit stretches roughly 25 km, with about 170 corners, dramatic elevation changes, and highly variable weather—features that earned it the nickname “The Green Hell.”

Korea Competition will again contest the top SP9 (GT3) class. In just its second appearance last year, the team finished ninth in class, becoming the first Asian team to break into the top 10.

About 160 cars are expected to take the start and race for 24 hours.

Korea Competition will field a Porsche 992 GT3 R fitted with Hankook Tire & Technology’s high-performance Ventus racing tires.

Founded in 2009, Korea Competition has claimed seven overall titles in South Korea’s Superrace Championship 6000 class. In 2023, the team captured three crowns in Europe’s 24H SERIES, including the GT European Trophy and the GT4 class.

Rather than focusing solely on results, the team prioritizes validating technology and gathering data in real race conditions while developing its drivers and engineers.

“We expect to deliver a steady performance at the Nürburgring 24 Hours based on the experience and technology we’ve built,” a Korea Competition spokesperson said. “Going forward, we will continue to demonstrate our team-management capabilities and tire technology on the global motorsports stage and further solidify our position.”
