SK Broadband, which has led a range of initiatives to promote a safety culture, follows last year’s heat-illness prevention campaign with another public–private participatory program aimed at engaging citizens this year.
The contest, running from May 4 to May 29, adopts the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s workplace safety slogan, “Keep my workplace safe, make tomorrow happier.” It invites submissions that emphasize △preventing workplace accidents and the importance of safety △examples of safety practices in daily life and at family workplaces △ideas and messages to raise safety awareness, and is open to all.
Entries are divided by participant category into △students (elementary, middle, and high school) — posters — and △adults — photographs or illustrations, with AI tools permitted. The student category emphasizes expressing the value of safety through the creative perspectives of the next generation, while the adult category seeks to disseminate practical safety culture through works reflecting diverse field experience and messages.
A total of 12 works will be selected, including the Grand Prize, Highest Award, and Excellence Awards. Winners will receive certificates and prizes such as a Samsung Galaxy Tab Ultra, an Apple MacBook Neo, and dining vouchers for The Buffet at Walkerhill. The winning entries will be used in educational materials and safety-culture exhibitions. The awards ceremony will be held on July 23 at the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry during Seoul’s Occupational Safety and Health Month commemoration.
