[The Public — Reporter Jo Doo-hee] Hancom Inostream, a subsidiary of Hancom, said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Hansung University to jointly advance the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE) project.

The agreement aims to establish an industry–university–research collaboration education model that combines university teaching infrastructure with companies’ industry-specific operational data to train job-ready digital talent who can be deployed directly in the workplace.

To achieve this, the two institutions will design industry‑customized curricula and introduce a digital badge certification system in which companies directly verify competencies, maximizing the practical impact of the training.

Hancom Inostream will integrate its expertise as Korea’s first—and the world’s fifth—NVIDIA DLI (Deep Learning Institute) authorized training center into university coursework. This will allow students on campus to complete advanced, industry‑validated training in deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI) and to earn official certificates.

The partners will operate practice‑oriented curricula based on Hancom Inostream’s programs in generative AI, on‑device AI, and automotive software. The curriculum will include industry‑critical skills such as building role‑specific AI agents, ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2)‑based robot control, and software design for future vehicles.

Choi Seong, CEO of Hancom Inostream, said, "We hope our AI and digital training capabilities will serve as a foundation for regional innovation and growth. Through practice‑oriented courses and a robust certification system, we will concentrate our resources on developing the practical future workforce that Seoul needs."

Lee Chang-won, president of Hansung University, said, "Based on this agreement, we will successfully carry out the Seoul Lifelong Education Advancement agenda and become a university that leads convergent future education."
