On the 2nd (local time), AFP reported the attack took place at a childcare center in Kampala's Makindye division. Police arrested the suspect at the scene.
The victims were three boys and one girl. Authorities returned the remaining children to their parents.
Officials said the suspect had inquired about enrolling his child at the center. After paying an enrollment fee that day, he reportedly began attacking the children.
Local police are investigating the suspect's motive.
