A man in his 30s who helped rescue victims during the Oct. 29, 2022, Itaewon disaster has gone missing, and police are searching for him.
On the 28th, police said Seoul’s Guro Police Station began searching after receiving a report on the 25th that a man in his 30s, identified as A, had gone missing.
He left home on the 20th and has not been in contact with family or acquaintances since.
A, who assisted in rescuing victims during the Oct. 29, 2022, Itaewon disaster, has since reported experiencing trauma and depression to those around him.
