Gyeryong Construction said that on the 12th the employee association representative, Manager Yoo Dong-yeol, together with Section Chief Yoon Young-no and staff member Park Kwang-sun, visited the Good Neighbor Center in Daeheung-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, and presented a donation of 11,811,043 KRW (approximately 8,858.28 USD).

The donation will support educational programs designed to narrow the facility’s digital divide and will be used to purchase office computers.

Yoo Dong-yeol said, “We hope this modest contribution, raised through our employees’ sincere efforts, helps brighten the futures of those who use the facility. We will continue to provide ongoing support and engagement to help build a more caring local community.”

Since 2020, Gyeryong Construction employees have voluntarily contributed a portion of their monthly pay to support a variety of local social welfare initiatives for neighbors in need.

In March, the company’s employee association visited the Happy Home free meal center and the Daejeon Senior Welfare Center to make donations. It continues to provide free meal services for vulnerable groups and support programs for low-income seniors living alone.
