[Herald Economy — Senior Reporter Park Jong-il] On May 2, Oh Seung-rok, mayor of Nowon District, attended the Nowon Magicland - Adventure Park event at Junggye Culture Park and Deungnamu Culture Park as part of Children's Day celebrations.▷ Lively stage performances, including sing-along shows featuring popular characters ▷ Seven large rides ▷ An outdoor library ▷ Hands-on programs — the district's Children's Day festival offered a diverse lineup. Buoyed by last year’s strong turnout, officials extended the event for a two-day run through May 3.
Attendees again praised the child-focused programming and the nature-friendly, comfortable layout that makes full use of the green corridor connecting the two parks.
To prepare for heavy holiday crowds, the district deployed a total of 500 safety and operations personnel during the festival and stationed a mobile emergency command center.
Oh Seung-rok, mayor of Nowon District, said, "We organized a day of adventure where visitors can move freely between the two connected parks and find everything they want to enjoy. I hope that all the fun and laughter imagined today belong entirely to the children."
