On the 29th, the Korea Construction Association held a policy meeting at its Sejong office for member firms from Gwangju, North Jeolla and South Jeolla.

About 40 people attended, including Association President Han Seung-gu, Seoul Chapter President Choi Tae-jin, Busan Chapter President Jeong Hyeong-yeol, North Jeolla Chapter President So Jae-cheol, Gyeonggi Chapter President Hwang Geun-soon, South Jeolla Chapter President Park Gyeong-jae, Ulsan Chapter President Jang Hong-su, and North Chungcheong Chapter President Yoo Jeong-seon.

Bu Gwang-deuk, an attorney at law firm Taepyungyang, delivered a lecture on key considerations and preparatory steps for succession planning at small and medium-sized construction firms. The association then outlined its major initiatives and heard from regional contractors about the industry's challenges and urgent issues.

President Han said, \"We plan to visit member firms around the country again this year to hear directly from the field,\" and added, \"As external conditions worsen and the operating burden on regional members grows, we will strengthen the association's role in responding to those challenges.\"
