(The CEN News / Reporter Seon‑ah Kim) Citizens selected the winning design for the Ansan Line underground plaza through a public vote.
Ansan City, together with the Ansan Future Research Institute, announced the results of the design competition for the Ansan Line underground plaza. The contest began on Jan. 22 and ran for about a month, drawing 86 entries from across the country.
A panel of experts and a citizen review committee initially narrowed the field to five finalists. An online vote by 736 participants then determined the final rankings. The Excellence Award went to "Da (多) Gyeonggwan," submitted by Jaebin Oh and one other entrant. The Encouragement Awards went to "ANSAN RE:GROUND" by In-yong Han, "The Green Conduit" by Su-an Choi, and "The WEAVE+" by Hae-won Lee.

On the 16th, Ansan City held an awards ceremony and project presentations to share the creative ideas that will inform the plaza’s development. Detailed descriptions and designs of the winning entries are available on the official Ansan Line underground project website.
