LE SSERAFIM releases their new single 'CELEBRATION' today (April 24).
LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) will release the digital track and music video for 'CELEBRATION,' the lead single from their second full-length album 'PUREFLOW pt.1,' at 1 p.m. today. The album traces an evolution: after debuting with the declaration that they were strong because they were fearless, the five members now argue that recognizing fear has made them stronger. The project has been framed as 'FEARLESS 2.0.'
Released ahead of the album, 'CELEBRATION' marks the moment someone acknowledges fear and finds the inner strength to face it. Kim Chaewon and Heo Yunjin contributed to the songwriting, lending the track added authenticity. As the first song revealed from the second album, it opens LE SSERAFIM's next chapter.
Through their agency Source Music, the group said, \"From the first time we heard this song, we pictured everyone enjoying it together at a party or a concert, so we couldn't wait to share it. 'CELEBRATION' blends melodic techno and hardstyle. It pairs an upbeat, infectious beat with a hooky melody that makes you move as soon as you hear it. The track promises to turn any space into a celebration the moment it plays.
The choreography is also a highlight. The group translates the resolve to move forward despite fear into striking, artful movement. In the music video teaser released on April 22, the members performed intense headbanging in tightly synchronized formation. Contemporary dancers will join the stage for emotionally pivotal sections to heighten immersion.
LE SSERAFIM will debut the live performance of the new song on KBS2's 'Music Bank' on April 24 at 4:55 p.m. They will follow with appearances on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on April 25 and SBS's 'Inkigayo ON THE GO' on April 26 to continue promoting 'CELEBRATION.'
