Sejong City plans to debut a special music fountain that blends Hallyu, the Korean Wave, into its programming.
The city announced on the 4th that shows at Bangchukcheon and Samsungcheon will run from the 15th through October 15.
This year’s lineup expands to include popular film and TV soundtracks (OSTs) and K-pop, creating a refreshed format for the fountain displays.
Shows are scheduled once on weekdays (8:30 PM∼8:50 PM) and twice on weekends (7:30 PM∼7:50 PM · 8:30 PM∼8:50 PM).
On days with bad weather, residents can check whether the fountain will run each day at 4:30 p.m. via the 'Sejong City App' and the fountain’s electronic display.
Kwon Young-seok, director of the Environment and Greenery Bureau, said, "We will operate the fountain based on residents’ feedback so it becomes a more comfortable experience for visitors."
