The episode also put the spotlight on Jeong Seo-joo, the winner of Miss Trot 4. Choosing Kim Yong-im's "Don't Cry, Time," Jeong amplified the song's lyricism with her clear tone and delicate emotional delivery. Colleagues hailed her as a true singer and said she makes every song her own, while Kim Yong-bin added, "I see why she became the champion," unable to hide his admiration.

On another stage, Oh Yoo-jin, the "Mi" titleholder from Miss Trot 3, took on Kim Yong-im's signature "A Life Like a Floating Plant." At 17, viewers were curious to see how she would interpret this traditional trot about life's ups and downs. Kim reportedly praised her, saying, "You sang it better than I did," a compliment that heightened expectations. Audiences are eager to see how Oh earned the original singer's acclaim.
