By Heo Na-won, SPOTV News — Singer Han Roro revealed the identity of the fan who received his first autograph, a disclosure that drew attention online.

A pre-release clip for the April 6 episode of tvN's You Quiz on the Block showed Han Roro expressing gratitude to the owner of the gamjatang (pork-bone soup) restaurant where he once worked. The moment struck a chord with viewers.

Host Yoo Jae-suk opened the segment by noting that Han Roro is from Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province and saying he’d heard that, while living on his own in Seoul, Han Roro took on multiple part-time jobs to attend school and rehearse.

Han Roro recalled that his longest gig was at the gamjatang restaurant, where he worked for about a year. He said the owner not only made sure he had lunch, but also listened to his music, dissected each song and offered thoughtful feedback and praise.

“He showed genuine interest and affection for me,” Han Roro said, adding that he was deeply thankful for the owner’s support.

Later in the clip, a piece of paper reading “My first autograph” is shown pinned to the restaurant wall.

The owner reflected on the first time he saw Han Roro perform. “Watching him sing, I thought, ‘He’s a singer,’” he said. “I teared up the first time I saw him. I felt like his hard work was finally paying off.”

Earlier, on the YouTube channel Kkondaehee, Han Roro shared how he personally invited the owner to one of his concerts. “He took good care of me while I was preparing to become a singer, so I wanted to show him how far I’d come,” Han Roro said. “He loved it.”

Han Roro released a new digital single, Aejung (literally “Love and Hate”), on April 2. The track explores the inward journey of understanding oneself amid repeating cycles of love and resentment, conveying both the courage to be disliked and the courage to love. On April 6, Korea Music Label Industry Association’s KINDI Lounge selected the single for its Weekly Playlist alongside new releases from Giwon, Jo Kwon and Geoni.
