Whiskey isn’t just for sipping anymore — it’s become a full-on foodie moment. The market is increasingly about pairing whiskey with food to elevate flavor, and liquor brands are teaming up across categories to create more immersive drinking experiences.
To tap into that trend, premium bourbon Woodford Reserve has partnered with New York steakhouse Smith & Wollensky for a limited collaboration at The Timber House in Park Hyatt Seoul. The pop-up runs for 10 days beginning today (the 20th).
Order a Smith & Wollensky steak at The Timber House and you’ll be greeted with a welcome highball made with Woodford Reserve. For the main course, servers perform a tableside Woodford Reserve bourbon flambe, adding a deeper, smoky aroma to the Smith & Wollensky bone-in ribeye.
Reservations are available via Naver and CatchTable (two popular Korean booking platforms), and seating is limited — so it may sell out quickly.
During the promotion, the restaurant will also offer three signature cocktails. All recipes were developed by Woodford Reserve brand ambassador Kim Yong-ju of Alice Cheongdam — the first Korean bartender named to the Bar World 100 — and each cocktail is crafted around Woodford Reserve to amplify the steak’s flavors.
