[Sports Seoul | Reporter Jo Sun-woo] Gmarket and Auction have teamed up with the U.S. Meat Export Federation for "Super Brand Day."
Super Brand Day is Gmarket and Auction’s regular promotion that partners with brands to offer deep discounts on their flagship products. Each Wednesday (or during a designated week), one brand is spotlighted for a one-day special, and participating brands are announced weekly.
The companies say shoppers can pick up U.S. beef and pork at discounts of up to 30%.
The promotion runs through the 11th and includes a 10% checkout discount—up to 3,000 KRW (approximately $2.25)—when you spend 10,000 KRW (approximately $7.50) or more.
On the live-broadcast channel G Live, exclusive items will be featured starting at noon. The site will also select four top buyers to receive Shinsegae gift certificates and will randomly draw eight viewers who verify purchases in the comments during the broadcast to win Starbucks e-gift cards.
