Produced by SLL and Studio Slam, Just Makeup is a K-beauty survival competition that pits top makeup artists against one another as they showcase K-beauty's artistic value and creativity through their distinctive styles.
In the first season, pop star Lee Hyori served as host, and 60 contestants — ranging from Cheongdam-dong salon artists to international professionals and up-and-coming beauty creators — drew widespread attention. The show's champion was 'Pari Geumson.'
Producers told Herald Muse that details such as the host and cast for Season 2 have not yet been finalized.
The series achieved significant traction, winning acclaim for both its headline-making names and its earnest competitive spirit. After its premiere, Just Makeup ranked No. 1 on Coupang Play for five consecutive weeks, earned an 8.5 rating on IMDb, and entered the top-10 OTT charts in seven overseas countries, strengthening its global presence.
