[SPOTV News reporter Kim Won-gyeom] Rei of IVE has returned with her personal YouTube series, "Try It With Rei."
The channel recently uploaded a new episode titled "Introducing Rei's New Aesthetic."
Before introducing the new content, Rei answered a range of questions submitted by DIVE and updated fans on her recent activities. From promotions for her second full-length album, Revive Plus, to notable appearances on U.S. broadcasts, she underscored both her own and IVE's growing international presence.
Asked about what will change this season, Rei said, "This season will be more challenging. I joined the planning meetings and will try different approaches to fill it with my tastes." She also said she plans to try editing videos herself and shared footage of her customizing behind-the-scenes clips, highlighting her versatility.
Using a "Try It With Rei" map to gather her preferences and opinions, Rei set the direction for upcoming episodes. After answering a variety of questions, she chose a DIY-focused segment called "Tap-Tap Make-With-Rei" for merchandise production and craft content. She added that she’d like to collaborate with Gaeul, who recently launched her own channel, "Temperature of Autumn," and that she’s discussed filming ideas with Ahn Yujin and Leeseo — news that excited fans further.
Rei proposed several new ideas — advice segments for DIVE, an upgraded "Friendship With Rei" series, and travel content — showing clear enthusiasm. She also handcrafted keyrings for guests on "Friendship With Rei," demonstrating her creativity and handiwork, and closed by saying, "I'll prepare well and bring you lots of fun content. I hope you look forward to it."
Through her solo YouTube series "Try It With Rei," Rei consistently shares varied daily moments and stays connected with fans. She tests and highlights cultural and trend items firsthand, reinforcing her reputation as a trendsetter. Fans are eager to see how she will balance entertainment and trends this season.
"Try It With Rei," where viewers can see Rei’s many charms, premieres Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. on the "Try It With Rei" YouTube channel. IVE, the group Rei is part of, is currently on its second world tour, "Show What I Am."
