[Herald Economy=Reporter Choi Won-hyeok] Park Kyung-hye, widely known as a \"national scene-stealer,\" opened up about living alone in a studio apartment for four months.Park appeared on the April 17 episode of MBC's variety show I Live Alone.
She said, \"This is my first time living on my own, and it's my first time finding a place by myself. I live in Yeoksam-dong in Gangnam District. It's about 6 pyeong (roughly 214 square feet), with a 50 million KRW deposit (about $37,500) and a monthly rent — including utilities and parking — of 590,000 KRW (about $442.50).\"
The bathroom was roomy, but rust and mold appeared in several places around the apartment.
Park said the previous tenant hadn't managed humidity well, which left rust and mold in several spots. Jo Yi asked, \"Shouldn't the landlord fix that?\" Park replied that she had missed some issues when she first moved in.When Kian84 asked, \"You've done a lot of projects—couldn't you have moved somewhere bigger?\" Park answered, \"My budget was limited. I looked for a place where I wouldn't feel strained by financial pressure.\"
Park also said she works part time at a café. \"I've been doing the part-time job for two years,\" she said. \"When I don't have projects, I don't have steady income, so I wanted a way to earn money and was able to pick up the job.\" She added that several of the café's staff are actors, and they help one another.
