Lotte Global Logistics (Lotte Courier) is rolling out a full seven-day delivery system in its fashion division, using Uniqlo’s order volume as the launchpad. In fashion e-commerce—where trends change fast and weekend shopping spikes—delivery speed has become a defining competitive edge.
Industry sources say Lotte Global Logistics operated a holiday delivery pilot during the recent March 1st holiday (Samiljeol) to handle orders from Uniqlo’s online store. On the ground, some local depots informed delivery drivers that “Uniqlo seven-day test shipments will be dispatched” and asked for cooperation to enable same-day delivery. By accelerating same-day processing, the company aims to boost customer satisfaction.

In January, Lotte Global Logistics introduced seven-day delivery, updating its previous weekday-focused model. It now handles pickups and deliveries across city-level areas nationwide on Sundays and public holidays as well as weekdays. Rural township areas (eup, myeon, ri) and some parts of Jeju are excluded from the rollout. Deliveries do not take place on Lunar New Year, Chuseok, or on the national “no-parcel” day.
This Uniqlo holiday delivery represents a full-scale application of seven-day service in the fashion category. Fashion shoppers, who chase trends, typically want their purchases as quickly as possible.
Online shopping tends to peak on weekends, so whether a seller offers holiday delivery can directly affect competitiveness. Platforms that make weekend buyers wait until early next week risk lower conversion rates and higher churn, which often pushes brands to change logistics partners.
Uniqlo is expanding its online store in Korea through its local company, F&F Korea—a joint venture in which Lotte Shopping holds a 49% stake. To manage Uniqlo’s online demand, F&F Korea partners with Lotte Global Logistics. As online sales grow, rising delivery volumes make improving logistics efficiency and speed a top priority.
Across the parcel industry, weekend delivery demand keeps increasing, especially in categories with high online sales like fashion and beauty. A delivery system that can reliably handle holiday volume is becoming a key logistics advantage. For brands, a network that processes weekend orders immediately not only raises customer satisfaction but also speeds up returns and exchanges.
A Lotte Global Logistics spokesman said, “We will maximize customer satisfaction by establishing a stable seven-day delivery system and offering differentiated, customer-tailored services such as scheduled delivery and agent delivery.”
