[Sports Seoul | Reporter Seo Ji-hyun] Former baseball player-turned-broadcaster Hwang Jae-gyun says he hopes to remarry.
Episode 29 of MBN's 'Jeon Hyun-moo Project 3,' which airs at 9:10 p.m. on the 1st, follows Jeon Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) as they travel to Mungyeong with Hwang Jae-gyun.
The trio visit Mungyeong's Food Alley, where butcher shops sit alongside small restaurants that let customers bring meat in to grill. At a butcher, they pick out high-quality hanwoo (Korean beef) and pork raised on yakdol feed, then take the meat into a nearby table-service restaurant to cook.
Hwang repeatedly praised the food, saying, "I go to beef restaurants a lot, and the quality here is really good." During a mukbang that continued with the yakdol-fed pork, KwakTube asked, "You're still in shape to play—so why did you retire?" Hwang paused, then candidly explained his reasons for stepping away from the game.
The three then tested their grip strength with an apple-splitting challenge. KwakTube went first, confident: "I hold my baby five hours every day, so I think I can do it." Watching, Jeon Hyun-moo quipped, "This makes me tear up—our Taesan!"
Jeon also prompted a conversation about remarriage, saying, "Talk about it here~." Hwang replied, "I want to remarry. I'm open to it. I want to have my own child, and if I do, I'll make them play baseball. Honestly, I think I'll get married before Hyun-moo."
They also revealed their ideal types. Hwang said he prefers someone tall, while Jeon said he likes a petite, cute type, underscoring their contrasting tastes. sjay0928@sportsseoul.com
