On March 10, LE17SEPTEMBRE quietly opened its flagship in a narrow Hannam-dong alley in Seoul’s Yongsan district. The calm neighborhood air gives way to a space that immediately announces the brand’s signature restraint.
Rather than ornate displays, the interior relies on negative space and structural tension. Low lighting sharpens garment silhouettes, and the newly unveiled THE ARCHIVE ; 本 ('Bon') collection landed with a quietly confident presence across the gallery-like circulation paths.
HagoHouse, one of Korea’s leading brand incubators, introduced its investee label LE17SEPTEMBRE’s THE ARCHIVE ; 本 collection at this location. The flagship, which opened at the end of February, now feels fully realized as a space that embodies the brand’s essence.
'本' (Bon) names the collection and signals an intent to strip things down to their core. Drawing from a steadily built design archive, this line reinterprets the brand’s fundamental pieces through LE17SEPTEMBRE’s distinct sensibility. It’s also the opening chapter — the starting point for the archive series the label plans to develop.

More than just everyday basics — balanced lines and thoughtful details
The collection aims for wearability without settling into plain minimalism. By removing needless embellishment and focusing on balanced silhouettes, refined detailing, and the density and texture of fabrics, LE17SEPTEMBRE sharpens its restrained aesthetic. Even in familiar pieces, the designs convey the brand’s commitment to form and quiet tension.
The piece that caught attention first was a vivid red soft-cotton shirt. Cut from the same high-density cotton used for the pants, it delivers a crisp, rustling hand and a structured silhouette you don’t usually expect from an ordinary shirt. Its saturated color, set against a bio-washed smooth finish, popped against the store’s neutral palette.
The wrinkle mock-neck cardigan is another strong example of the collection’s direction. A proprietary knit creates natural creasing that adds surface depth; a blend of thin cotton and flexible nylon gives a soft touch with surprising substance. The label’s leather jacket clarifies its structural aesthetic even more. Crafted from a vegan leather engineered for precise surface texture and function, it pairs a soft hand and minimalist lines with sleeve slits, a buttonable high-neck collar, and hem banding that together create a controlled, sculptural volume.

A HagoHouse representative said the Hannam-dong flagship was conceived as an archive — a place to experience the time and sensibility the brand has accumulated, not merely a retail outlet. The restrained layout and the beauty of negative space create LE17SEPTEMBRE’s distinctive calm, dense atmosphere.
They added that the collection, paired with the space’s concept, quietly but clearly signals what the brand plans to explore through its archive line.
To celebrate the Hannam flagship opening, LE17SEPTEMBRE is offering 10% off all items through the 15th and will gift a premium hair comb to the first customers who spend over 200,000 KRW (about $134). The archive collection debuts exclusively on a W Concept live on the 17th and will roll out on the brand’s official online store starting the 20th.
