On April 4, the third Beyond the Crown Model Contest & Hanbok Model Selection for 2026 took place at the Millitopia Hotel Grand Ballroom in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Hanbok models closed the runway with a show-stopping finale.
The competition is scouting talent with the looks and runway skills to lead global trends. Winners will receive prize money and also gain real opportunities to appear in upcoming fashion shows, commercial campaigns, and to serve as brand ambassadors.
Son Seon-ah, CEO of THE SSA, said, "Beyond the Crown aims to maximize a model's potential and serve as a platform to showcase Korea's beauty to the world. We want to offer aspiring models tangible opportunities to make their debut."
Meanwhile, Kim Sang-min and Park Min-young, winners of the second Beyond the Crown, raised their international profiles last month in Turkey by winning the Asia Continental Award and the National Costume Award at FUTURE FASHION FACES WORLD 2026.
