Kiwoom DRX snapped a five-game skid and will head to Hanoi in high spirits.

Kiwoom DRX defeated Nongshim RedForce 2-0 in Round 2 of the 2026 LCK regular season at the LCK Arena in Jongno, Seoul, on May 2 at 7 p.m.

The win was Kiwoom’s third of the season, moving them to 3-7. With momentum back on their side, they’ll head to Vietnam for two home-front matches in Hanoi against Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports on May 8 and 10.

Nongshim, meanwhile, inserted 'Diabl' Nam Dae-geun into the starting lineup immediately after the trade, but the move failed to shift the outcome. The loss extended their skid to four games and dropped their record to 4-6.

Kiwoom controlled the early pace in Game 1, relentlessly focusing pressure on the opposing Anivia. Nongshim couldn’t get value from top-lane Vayne and gradually lost footing in the bot lane. After converting every available advantage, Kiwoom closed the match in 28 minutes.

Game 2 was a back-and-forth affair. 'Yukal' Son Woo-hyun, on Annie, roamed the map and turned skirmishes into advantages across the Rift. Nongshim stayed competitive through kill trades, but Kiwoom seized the initiative at 26 minutes by cutting down the enemy jungler and grabbing Baron. A tense fight at 33 minutes gave Kiwoom the Dragon Soul, and four minutes later they pushed their lead to destroy the Nexus.
