In the April 12 episode of tvN's How to Become a Building Owner in Korea, Jeon Yi-kyung slips from the rooftop in a harrowing turn of events.
When Min urges her to think of the child and go home, Jeon Yi-kyung drops the weapon she’s holding and loses her footing. Min lunges after her and the two plummet from the roof; he manages to push her to safety but is killed in the fall.
Elsewhere, Go Ju-ran (Lee Joo-woo) finds Yona (Shim Eun-kyung) amid a violent struggle. Confronted, Yona breaks down, insisting it wasn’t her. At the same time, Gi Su-jong’s (Ha Jung-woo) building erupts in an explosion after a fire breaks out.
Kim Seon (Im Soo-jung) and Gi Da-rae (Park Seo-kyung) are rushed into an ambulance together. Gi Su-jong bitterly admits that a repairman had come by days earlier but was sent away to save money — a decision he now regrets as the fire engulfs the building. Kim Seon scolds him, saying it’s so like him, and demands he promise not to lie again.
