On April 1, Jang appeared on the YouTube channel 'YouTube Hajiyoung' and spoke openly about her upcoming screen debut in the film Salmokji and the challenges she faces as an actress. She particularly stood out during an improvisation game that used emotion cards, delivering a notably natural, fully immersive performance.
During the segment she drew the keyword "excitement" and set up a scene at a drama wrap party. While portraying a moment of subtle chemistry with a male co-star, she suddenly paused and confessed, "I'm a little confused right now. Actually, I've never dated," prompting audible surprise on set.
Host Ha Ji-young reacted in disbelief, saying, "That's the first time I've heard that," and laughter followed. Later, in a scene centered on betrayal, Jang added that while she’s been in ambiguous situations before, none of them developed into real relationships — a note that only heightened the scene's realism.

Meanwhile, Jang Da-a is also known as the older sister of IVE member Jang Won-young. She first gained attention through the drama Pyramid Game and will make her film debut as rookie PD Moon Se-jung in Salmokji, which opens on April 8.
