Rough, cool exposed concrete meets warm, soft wood in a playful clash that gives this home its irresistible personality. The architects transformed a 23 pyeong (approximately 76.0 m2 / 818 sq ft) apartment in Japan into a cozy, kid-friendly nest for a young family.

The team stripped out interior walls and reworked the layout to fit the family's daily rhythms. Large windows flood the rooms with daylight. Surfaces are finished in exposed concrete and white, while wood floors soften the palette and add a welcoming warmth.
