Skechers Korea has unveiled a playful collaboration with cult‑favorite illustrator Drawing Merry. The collection launches simultaneously across six Asian markets—South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Hong Kong—as part of a global project.
Beloved for vibrant palettes and an irresistibly cozy illustration style, Drawing Merry shaped this collaboration around each country’s climate, natural scenery and the unique vibe of its cities.
At the heart of the collection are designs that celebrate national identity. The artist’s signature character, Merry, and her pup, Day, are woven into graphics featuring motifs inspired by each country—turning every piece into a collectible. The Korean edition is especially evocative: Merry and Day set against a hanok backdrop, paired with hibiscus, hanbok and a gat‑wearing figure to capture Korean charm on a T‑shirt.
Drawing Merry said, "For this collaboration, I imagined each country's climate and natural environment," adding, "Skechers' comfort pairs perfectly with the bright, healing energy of my illustrations."
