New 'Together' Tab in Gift Box Boosts Convenience

카카오톡 From now on, vouchers received via Kakao(035720)Talk's gifting feature can be shared and used with family and friends.

On the 29th, Kakao announced a new 'Together' feature that lets vouchers—previously stored individually—be shared and managed among members of a family account.

With this update, you no longer have to capture images or copy messages each time you share a voucher with loved ones. Vouchers can now be used together directly within the gift box, removing that annoying extra step.

It's simple to get started. In KakaoTalk's gift box, open the newly added 'Together' tab, create a family account, or accept an invitation to join an existing one—and you're ready. Connected members can share and manage vouchers inside the gift box without any separate image-sharing process.

Members can check voucher expiration dates and usage status in real time. The system sends notifications when a voucher is used to prevent duplicate redemptions. Instead of saving voucher images or sharing them one by one, everyone can view and redeem vouchers right from the gift box.

Kakao said the feature expands voucher usage from an individual focus to a shared experience among family and friends, and it plans to continue strengthening the user experience within its gifting service.

A Kakao spokesperson said, \"This 'Together' feature focuses on making vouchers more flexible to use and improving connectivity among members,\" adding, \"We will keep refining service features so users can enjoy more convenient and richer gifting experiences.\"
