Issey Miyake and Camper Collaborate: Discover the New Karst Finch Sneakers!

[Herald Economy = Reporter Yeon-su Park] On April 17, Samsung C&T’s fashion division announced that Issey Miyake, a label it imports and operates, has teamed up with Spanish footwear brand Camper to launch the Karst Finch sneakers (photo).This is the second collaboration between Issey Miyake designer Satoshi Kondo and Camper. The pair first previewed the shoe last October during Issey Miyake’s Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week.Built around a theme of “playful cheerfulness,” the new sneaker marries Camper’s signature Karst silhouette with Issey Miyake’s inventive twist. The name nods to “karst,” the limestone terrain, and “finch,” the small songbird.A lightweight, stretchy material pairs with a signature outsole for both durability and comfort. The Mary Jane–style stretch knit upper promises a snug, comfy fit, while the Vibram outsole boosts grip.The Karst Finch launched simultaneously in Korea and globally. In Korea it’s available in black and beige, and each pair includes two pairs of socks in either matching or contrasting colors.
