On the 30th, Kim shared the photos on her account alongside a candid, heartfelt caption about her feelings.
She styled a voluminous, loose-fit black knit over black shorts for a chic maternity look. Her intense gaze straight into the camera and confident expression truly command attention.
Photographers also captured her perched on an antique mother-of-pearl cabinet, her long waves falling naturally. In a white long-sleeve cropped tee and denim jeans, she pulled off an effortlessly cool maternity vibe.
Kim wrote, \"There was always a large mother-of-pearl cabinet in our living room when I was little. My grandfather sent it as part of my mother's wedding dowry. To my young eyes, it felt too big and unfamiliar. It stood out in our small New York apartment, and I remember hoping we'd someday replace it with something more modern and natural.\"
\"As time went on, I started seeing the cabinet differently—the hand-carved detail, the durable craftsmanship, and the years it had traveled with us to a foreign land. What once felt old-fashioned quietly became beautiful,\" she added.
\"Looking back, I realize I was a lot like that cabinet. Growing up in New York, I tried to fit in and hid the more Korean parts of myself. Over time I learned that what makes someone special isn't blending in but standing out. Now, preparing to be a mom, I find myself reflecting. Just as I came to appreciate the cabinet, I'm starting to understand myself more deeply—where I come from, what I'm made of, and who I'm becoming.\"
Kim first gained attention on Channel A's \"Heart Signal 2\" in 2018. She announced her marriage last October and received many congratulations.
