On April 30, at its headquarters in Jamwon-dong, Seoul’s Seocho District, the company handed every employee a snack gift set that included a thank-you card from the CEO.

They added a playful twist: each snack pack came with a scratch-off message card—the “Lotto Box”—so employees could reveal their prize instantly.

The prize lineup emphasized family time, with rewards like a paid day off, an LG StanbyME portable display, a Dyson hair dryer, and a variety of gift cards.

To mark Labor Day, Lotte Construction also awarded employees points to use at its welfare mall. The internal marketplace offers roughly 1,700 discounted items across categories including appliances, sports gear, household goods, baby products, health foods, and fashion accessories.

The platform lets employees request additional items, and if a chosen product costs more than their allotted points, they can pay the difference to purchase it at the discounted price.

A company representative said, “We organized this event hoping to add small moments of joy to employees’ time with their families. Going forward, we will continue to expand practical welfare programs that help employees balance work and life and foster a more energetic corporate culture.”
