[Herald Muse=Reporter Kim Na-yul] Choi Jun-hee, the daughter of the late actress Choi Jin-sil, picked her wedding gown for the ceremony. On April 20, her YouTube channel Junhee posted a video titled "Wedding Prep VLOG: Shall We Try on Wedding Dresses? Hair and makeup, a fitting, and the dress try-on! (Bridal shower behind-the-scenes too)."
In the video, Choi went in for a fitting of the dress she plans to wear at the ceremony. "I'll get hair and makeup at the shop and then put on the wedding dress," she said. "I don't like makeup that looks too pale or chalky, so I'm trying to dial in the right color for my ceremony look."
She tried on several gowns. After slipping into a silk dress, she shrugged and said she would be satisfied just having tried it, noting it wasn't as impressive as she expected. The reactions from the group were similarly muted.
Her face lit up when she stepped into a full, voluminous gown. "It gives a little May wedding vibe," she said. "The sleeve pieces can be attached or removed. But it does tend to slip down."
Staff warned that some dresses are so large that brides sometimes can't even get into them. They added, "Even with fittings, because you're so slim, this could slip down during the ceremony."
After choosing a dress, Choi headed to a bridal shower. She said she had no idea one was planned and was genuinely surprised. "I really didn't know," she said.
Following the shower, she noted, "I also picked the dress I'll wear in the bridal waiting room. I might gain or lose about 3 kg (around 6.6 pounds) before the wedding, so I'll come back the week of the ceremony to check the fit."
