I.O.I‘s Stunning Comeback: What to Expect from Their New Mini Album ’LOOP'?

I.O.I raised anticipation when, at midnight on the 10th, they posted the \"A\" version of the concept group photo for their third mini-album, I.O.I : LOOP, on their official social channels.

The newly released images show the group exuding a poised, free-spirited energy against an exotic backdrop. The nine members—Lim Na-young, Chungha, Kim Se-jeong, Jung Chae-yeon, Kim So-hye, Yoo Yeon-jung, Choi Yu-jung, Kim Do-yeon and Jeon So-mi—strike a measured balance, each styled to highlight individual flair. Their relaxed expressions and penetrating gazes underscore a cohesion that has strengthened over the past decade.

I.O.I : LOOP is a carefully crafted mini-album that revisits a string of luminous moments with polished execution. The title track, \"갑자기\" (Suddenly), features lyrics co-written by member Jeon So-mi and translates the sudden waves of longing that surface in everyday life into a synth-pop arrangement. Its dreamy outro and pronounced emotional arc are likely to draw listeners in.

Several members also took active roles across multiple tracks, contributing to a more mature and distinctly I.O.I musical identity.

I.O.I will release their third mini-album, I.O.I : LOOP, at 6 p.m. on the 19th. They will then launch their Asia tour, \"2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP,\" beginning with performances at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium from the 29th through the 31st, where they will greet international fans.
