On the 2nd, KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs' aired an episode that featured Sandeul of B1A4 mounting a challenge to Kim Ki-tae's dominance.

Appearing after a long absence, Sandeul admitted he was nervous but said with confidence, "If it goes the way I expect, I can win." Kim Ki-tae, who already held a ticket to the champions' round and was leading with 396 points, quipped, "I'll buy you a meal, so back me."

For the closing slot of Part 1 of the Joo Young-hoon episode, Sandeul selected Sung Jin-woo's "Don't Give Up." When producers asked what he couldn't give up, he answered, "singing." He said he sometimes thinks about quitting, but he wants to use music to send messages to people — which is why he chose "Don't Give Up."

He delivered a musical-style performance built around a lush, full-band sound.
