Kim Ji-min called out her husband Kim Jun-ho over his spending habits.
On the April 5 episode of SBS's My Little Old Boy, cameras followed the daily life of Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min as they marked their 10th month of marriage.
During the show, Ji-min confronted Jun-ho, saying, \"Your household allowance deposit is a bit late,\" which left him visibly flustered.
Jun-ho explained that he had set up an automatic transfer but didn't realize the account was empty. He added that the previous month had been the final installment on a diamond ring he bought for her — the 12-month payment plan had only just ended.
He then made a bold proposal: \"Let's merge our accounts again.\" Ji-min rejected the idea, replying, \"I'm careful with my savings—why are you trying to drag me into that?\"
Jun-ho urged her to invest in stocks, joking that he's the only person in Korea who hasn't made money on the market. Ji-min fired back, \"You're down 70 percent. I've never been in the red.\"
Ji-min also told visiting friends Kim Jong-min and Lim Won-hee that she had secretly watched Jun-ho while he was supposedly playing games and noticed he wasn't actually playing—he kept adding items to an in-game shopping cart. She revealed he had spent a substantial amount in front of her. Jun-ho admitted he'd used personal funds to buy two supercars and charged 490,000 KRW (approximately $368) to the game.
SBS's My Little Old Boy airs every Sunday at 9 p.m.
