PointBreak, the company behind bttr, says the brand’s debut product is the Hydra Barrier Cleansing Milk to Foam.
A PointBreak spokesperson said, "It starts as a silky cleansing milk and transforms into foam on contact with water. This total-cleansing line features an innovative texture that streamlines complicated cleansing steps, offering a comforting and reliable option for busy mornings and tired evenings."
Private testing confirmed the product’s performance. Even before the official launch, well-known pharmacies in Myeong-dong and Seongsu and a dermatology clinic in Gangnam had already agreed to carry it. Following the opening of its official online store, the company plans to deepen its domestic presence and explore international markets.
The name bttr riffs on the English word "better," signaling a promise to offer smarter choices in customers’ daily beauty routines. In January, ahead of the product launch, PointBreak secured seed funding from Altos Ventures.
Meanwhile, SATUR, founded by Son Ho-cheol, incorporated in October 2021 and capitalized on pandemic-driven online demand to grow rapidly, hitting annual sales of 10 billion KRW (7.5 million USD) within two years.
A PointBreak representative said, "Rather than insisting there’s a single perfect answer for skin, we focused on making everyday skin experiences more comfortable and on delivering products people can trust. We hope bttr becomes a genuinely better, practical choice in each customer’s beauty routine."
