“Have you heard of 'Love in Jeongseon'?”
Single professionals are getting another chance to find a lifelong partner at some of Jeongseon’s most scenic spots in Gangwon Province.
Jeongseon County announced on May 3 that the Love in Jeongseon couple-matching event will run for one night and two days beginning on the 16th.
This year’s edition brings together 16 working singles—eight men and eight women—born between 1988 and 2000 to look for meaningful connections.
Applications are open through the 6th. Register online at (bit.ly/3PXYilr).
Last year, organizers ran the Solo Train in Jeongseon program.
Participants boarded the Jeongseon Arirang train to mingle and search for special matches.

The event attracted national attention: competition among applicants in their 20s reached as high as 20-to-1, and five couples formed as a result.
This year’s Love in Jeongseon is built around the county’s unique attractions to help spark lasting relationships.
The centerpiece is Romijian Garden, locally famed as a shrine of romance.
Over the one-night, two-day program, participants will join a matching event at Romijian Garden, take part in a GPS treasure hunt, tour the Jeongseon five-day market, and enjoy activities around Najeon Station.
Shin Won-seon, head of Jeongseon County’s tourism division, said, “We support a variety of programs so visitors can make memories and find meaningful connections in beautiful Jeongseon. We’ll keep developing standout tourism content so this annual event helps position Jeongseon as a romantic destination people want to return to.”
