Gyeongsangnam-do said on March 28 that Governor Park Wan-su visited multiple festival sites in Gimhae to engage directly with residents and local organizers.
He began at the Yulhacheon Meeting Plaza, attending the opening ceremony of the 7th Yulha Cherry Blossom Festival and participating in pre-opening performances and community programs.
The Yulha Cherry Blossom Festival, organized by the Jangyu 3-dong Residents' Autonomy Association, featured promotional and hands-on booths, a flea market, and live performances, offering a range of resident-driven activities.
Afterward, Governor Park toured the area around Lotte Premium Outlets Gimhae for the 2nd Gimhae Hanwoo Festival. The event, aimed at supporting Hanwoo (Korean beef) farmers confronting rising production costs and broader economic uncertainty, included promotional and sales booths, tasting events, and consumer-focused performances.
That evening, he was scheduled to travel to Changnyeong County to attend the opening ceremony of the 31st Bugok Oncheon Festival at the outdoor stage in the Bugok Hot Spring Tourist Zone.
