Changwon Hanmaeum Hospital is launching a large-scale cultural program for 10,000 local children.

On April 11, the hospital announced that its children's cultural support project, "2026: A World Seen Through the Heart," has entered its main phase this month.

The hospital is hosting the program, the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea is funding it, and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation is managing it.

Launched in 1994 and now in its 32nd year, "A World Seen Through the Heart" has grown into the country’s largest children’s cultural program.

This year, roughly 300 organizations across South Gyeongsang Province (Gyeongnam) will participate. Organizers will deploy about 300 45-seat buses to give approximately 10,000 children hands-on experiences.

The event runs from April 11 through May 31 and may be extended to June 14 depending on weather. Participants will visit Robot Land or E-World to ride attractions and attend performances.

Changwon Hanmaeum Hospital is fully sponsoring the project with ₩400 million (about $300,000). As of March 2026, the hospital’s cumulative social contributions exceed ₩41.6 billion (about $31.2 million), and the total number of beneficiaries, including this year’s participants, is expected to reach 300,000.

Chairperson Choi Kyung-hwa said, "What began as a small event 32 years ago has grown into a regional festival with 10,000 participants. We will continue providing meaningful cultural experiences for children and work to reduce social isolation."

Meanwhile, Changwon Hanmaeum Hospital continues to support vulnerable residents through annual social and scholarship programs worth about ₩4 billion (about $3 million), and it plans to further strengthen its social responsibility through its welfare network.
