Hanon Systems, the automotive thermal-energy management solutions unit of Korea & Company Group, said it aims to become the world's leading thermal-management solutions provider as it marks its 40th anniversary on the 11th.
On the 10th, Hanon Systems released a commemorative message titled '40 Years Forward.'
The message says the company will leverage four decades of technology and innovation to create new growth opportunities across future mobility and other industries that require thermal management.
Hanon Systems has set a target to become the global No. 1 thermal-management solutions company by 2036, its 50th anniversary.
The company currently operates 50 manufacturing plants worldwide and three R&D innovation centers, and has established itself as the second-largest manufacturer of automotive thermal-management systems.
Hanon plans to accelerate expansion into new business areas built on its core automotive thermal-management technologies.
It will prioritize infrastructure markets that require high-efficiency thermal solutions—such as data-center cooling systems, where demand is rising rapidly—as key growth areas.
The company will also expand into adjacent growth sectors, including the global aftermarket.
To mark its 40th anniversary, Hanon Systems will distribute commemorative gifts to employees and host events at each business site, including a 'Proactive Concert' reflecting Korea & Company Group's corporate culture.
Lee Soo-il, vice chairman and CEO of Hanon Systems, said, "This 40th anniversary is more than a milestone; it marks a new starting point for our push to become the global No. 1 thermal-management solutions company, grounded in execution and healthy fundamentals."
