Pizza Hut Korea is kicking off March with a bold new lineup: the "Han-geun Ban-geun Cheese Festa" series, featuring pizzas piled with up to one han-geun of cheese (600 g — roughly 1.32 lb).
The launch lets customers choose between a full han-geun (600 g) or a half han-geun (300 g — about 0.66 lb) of cheese on their pizza. Tapping into the modi-consumer trend—where diners customize to their liking—Pizza Hut Korea is giving cheese lovers a fresh way to pick their perfect slice.
The Han-geun Ban-geun Cheese Festa line includes eight pizzas, one pasta and one dipping sauce. The pizzas are: Han-geun Cheese Classic, Han-geun Cheese Pepperoni, Han-geun Cheese Combination, Han-geun Cheese Melting Potato, Half-Han-geun Cheese Classic, Half-Han-geun Cheese Pepperoni, Half-Han-geun Cheese Combination and Half-Han-geun Cheese Melting Potato.
Full han-geun pizzas come in L size, while half-han-geun pizzas are available in L and M sizes. The full han-geun options use a hefty 600 g of cheese to amplify rich flavor and a satisfyingly chewy texture. The half-han-geun choices pack 300 g of cheese so you can indulge without going overboard. The point is simple: enjoy the same menu but choose the level of cheesiness that suits your mood.
Alongside the pizzas, Pizza Hut Korea is introducing a side called Cheese Bomb Pasta — an indulgent dish topped with generous mozzarella and a savory meat-tomato sauce that highlights the cheese’s creamy, toasty notes. To celebrate the launch, members can buy the Cheese Bomb Pasta for 9,800원 (regular 12,900원), about $7.35 (regular $9.68).
They’ve also added a Sriracha Mayo dipping sauce. The spicy-sweet kick of sriracha blended with mayonnaise offers a fun contrast to cheesy pies, and you can get it paired with the existing Real Garlic dipping sauce as a Double Dipping Sauce combo.
The rollout comes with a slate of promos. Pizza Hut is currently offering a 10,000원 discount for carryout and an 8,000원 discount for delivery on L-size pizzas (about $7.50 and $6.00 respectively), and a weekend 1+1 promotion across the entire menu. Choose one premium pizza and get an additional pizza from any menu for free, so you can easily feed a group.
To mark the Cheese Festa launch, customers who buy a Cheese Festa pizza can add a 1.25L Coca‑Cola (Original or Zero) for a special 1,000원 (regular 2,500원), about $0.75 (regular $1.88) — 1.25L is roughly 42.3 fl oz — and grab the Double Dipping Sauce (Real Garlic + Sriracha Mayo) at a discounted 1,500원 (about $1.13).
