Burger King is dropping three new, mouthwatering additions to its can't-miss "Maximum" lineup — the Garlic Bulgogi Maximum series — starting on the 12th.

The Garlic Bulgogi Maximum lineup builds on Burger King's steady-seller, the Garlic Bulgogi Whopper, by offering three options based on patty count. Garlic Bulgogi Maximum 2 stacks two patties with sliced cheese for a juicy, satisfying bite. Garlic Bulgogi Maximum 3 layers three patties with cheese and a generous helping of garlic chips to amp up the flavor. And the Garlic Bulgogi One Pounder piles on four patties for an over-the-top look and serious fullness.
Since its 2023 debut, the Maximum series has become a fan favorite for its bold visuals and playful twists. Releases like Quattro, Blackyangyang, Whole Shrimp, and The Ochi Maximum have all sparked major buzz.
To celebrate the launch, Burger King is rolling out a playful event that invites customers to compete. The "Patty Alliance Ranking" lets up to five people form an alliance in the Burger King app. The app totals the patties bought by alliance members and ranks teams accordingly.
Purchases of any Garlic Bulgogi Maximum item earn double patty credits, so alliances can climb the leaderboard faster. Prizes will be awarded to a total of 186 alliances (up to 930 people): first place (1 team) — Galaxy Watch 8 or Apple Watch 11; second place (5 teams) — Galaxy Buds 4 or AirPods 4; third place (30 teams) — a KRW 50,000 Google gift card (about $37.50).
The ranking contest runs from the product launch on the 12th through April 12. Participation is open only to adults aged 19 and older.
Burger King has once again tapped Choo Sung-hoon, the face behind The Ochi Maximum's success, as the campaign model. Expect an ad that leans into his fierce charisma with the message "Challenge the Maximum Moment."
Individual item prices are: Garlic Bulgogi Maximum 2 — 10,700 KRW (about $8.03); Garlic Bulgogi Maximum 3 — 13,900 KRW (about $10.43); Garlic Bulgogi One Pounder — 17,500 KRW (about $13.13). The burgers will be available at Burger King locations nationwide through August 26.
