Teva just unveiled a clever sandal-style running shoe, the Aventrail R2T, designed to slip effortlessly from city streets to rugged trails.
The Aventrail collection is built for trail running, engineered for a secure fit and dependable traction on natural terrain. The Aventrail R2T takes that same performance DNA and extends it into the urban running world.
Though tuned for road running, the R2T follows a "Road to Trail" concept that helps your stride flow naturally across mixed surfaces, whether you’re on pavement or dirt.
Teva’s global ambassador, ultrarunner Mike Wardian, put the shoe through its paces — running 50 km (31.1 miles) on each of the seven continents over seven days for a 350 km (217.5 miles) world-record effort that highlighted the shoe’s capabilities.
To celebrate the launch, Teva hosted an in-person run around Seoul’s Namsan. The mixed road-and-trail course let participants experience the Road-to-Trail environment the R2T is designed for firsthand.
