
AliExpress announced on March 24 that sales in Korea’s fashion category jumped roughly 38-fold year over year last month. The number of individual sellers joining the platform also surged 180% month over month, keeping the momentum strong.
South Korean designer label Styleworks saw fourth-quarter sales last year climb 71-fold year over year. Popular women’s clothing retailer Attrangs posted about a sixfold increase in December sales compared with the prior month.
AliExpress’s K-Venue, its dedicated Korean marketplace, now features around 400 local fashion brands. Every day it highlights new items aimed at shoppers aged 25 to 45, from wardrobe basics to standout designer pieces.
To support local partners, AliExpress launched a zero-commission policy on Feb. 1 for newly registered Korean companies and sole proprietors, waiving fees for the first 90 days from their onboarding date. It also offers a fee-relief program that refunds 50% of commissions for one year to sellers with annual GMV of 500 million KRW or less (approximately $375,000).
